2006-2008 President

To be a School Resource Officer is a noble endeavor.  It is a profession that encompasses a multitude of challenges, and requires a “well rounded” officer to accomplish these demands.

I am an individual within a group of very knowledgeable and professional officers.  Therefore my platform is simple… listening and implementing common sense ideas in order to further benefit the progression of the association.

One way I plan to accomplish this is to implement a “networking system” which will be utilized by all SRO’s in order to share information/ideas within the Association via web site and/or newsletter.  Examples of the shared information will be: SRO accomplishments, ideas/programs (success stories), Local Trends, Future Plans, Monthly meeting highlights, and Tips for improvement purposes.

I would also like to invite other organizations that have proven to be helpful in the success of the Association to become more active in our future plans, conferences and monthly meetings.

 Thank you,

 Vincent Goggins
